Nepal welcomes Indian investment

Kolkata, Sep 23 (PTI) The Nepalese Commerce Minister Rajendra Mahto today welcomed Indian investment in Nepal.
“We hope Indian investors will think about investing in Nepal. More social, cultural and business exchanges would make the Indo-Nepal bilateral exchanges vibrant and more fruitful,” the visiting Nepalese Minister said.
The Nepalese minister today called on the West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and discussed various aspects including request for more cultural exchanges.
Describing his meeting with the CM a ‘Courtesy Call’, Mahto said that Nepal always enjoyed a fruitful bilateral relation with India and his country would never allow anti-India activities by the Maoists or any other groups from this Himalayan state.
