The government has also decided to provide IRs 50,000 to those wounded in the incident and make arrangements for their treatment, said Bhaskar Dahal, chief advisor of Assam Gorkha Students Union.
Twelve persons including eight of Nepali origin had been killed when NDFB militants opened fire in Bhimaji village.
Those killed include Danu Mani Bahadur Pradhan, Ganesh Chhetri, Chandra Chhetri, Uma Devi, Kuleshwar Pradhan, Ranju Pradhan, Bhuwan Newar and Man Bahadur Chhetri.
